Hair coloring often causes the stylist to:

  • The gray looks yellow, dull and "age";
  • White hair loses light;
  • The first gray hair is difficult to stretch gently;
  • porous gray quickly takes the pigment;
  • bleached patches may become too cold or dirty;
  • the client wants to refine and integrate gray hair rather than cover it densely.

Nirvel Silver helps not hide the gray, but turns it into a controlled, noble and modern color accent.

FAQ

Questions about Nirvel Silver

What if the color doesn't match the palette?

Nirvel Silver is a cream-toning system for gray, white, and lightened hair rather than a permanent color intended for major level change. The result depends on the selected shade and the starting canvas: percentage of gray/white hair, porosity, unwanted yellow tone, and degree of lightening. On very white hair a shade may appear cleaner and lighter; on porous blonde hair it may deposit more intensely. When in doubt, use the more conservative service option recommended by Nirvel.

Does It Provide 100% Gray Coverage?

No. Nirvel Silver is intended for gray blending and tonal refinement rather than dense permanent gray coverage. It can reduce unwanted yellow tones, visually balance gray/white hair, and create silver, ash, pearl, or platinum directions for clients who want to integrate natural gray rather than conceal it completely.

Is he touching the natural base?

No. Nirvel states that Silver is designed to revitalize and condition gray hair without altering its natural tone. That makes it useful for gray-integration services where the goal is not to lift or permanently recolor the natural base, but to create a softer, more polished transition.

What are the cases where Nirvel Silver is used?

Use Nirvel Silver when the goal is to reduce unwanted yellow tones in gray, white, or lightened hair; refine and enhance natural gray; softly blend the first gray hairs; balance the look of a high percentage of gray; support a transition to natural gray; or refresh highlighted/blonde hair without lifting the natural base. Nirvel positions the line for gray-transition services because it tones without changing the natural level.

Is he ruining his hair or not?

Silver is not a lightening system and is not intended to lift the natural base. When used correctly, it provides tonal deposit and conditioning that can improve the appearance of smoothness and shine. This is a cosmetic effect, not biological repair of damaged hair.

How do you choose the shade?

The choice of shade depends on three factors: 1. The natural base of the client the darker the base, the more carefully you need to work with cold nuances. 2. The percentage of gray for the first gray hair is 20–40% suitable for Brown Ash. For the gray gray one is 50–70% gray. For the yellowing gray it is 60–80% Pearl shade. For white or almost white gray it is 80–100% platinum shade. 3. The color of the gray itself can be white, gray or yellowish, and for each task the shade is different. Nirvel clearly indicates that it is important to take into account natural tone, number of grays and its shades.

What shade should I choose for the first gray hair?

For early gray on a brown or darker natural base, Nirvel includes Brown Ash options such as 5-17 Medium Brown Ash. Select the shade according to the natural base, percentage and character of gray/white hair, and the current Silver shade-selection guidance.

What shade should be chosen for the expressed gray gray?

For hair with a high percentage of gray, grays are the shades of Grey. 6-1 Medium Gray is recommended for light and medium gray with a percentage of about 50-70% when it is necessary to reinforce and combine the gray shade. 4-1 Dark Gray is suitable for darker gray gray with a high percentage of gray hair when it is necessary to integrate gray with natural color.

What choice is it to have a gray yellow?

If the gray is yellow, it is more logical to work with the shades of Pearl because they have a purple direction. For example, 6-21 Medium Pearl is designed for yellow-sediment gray with a high percentage of gray hair and helps neutralize unwanted yellowism by making hair cleaner and more luminous.

What choice is there for almost white hair?

For predominantly white hair, Nirvel offers platinum directions such as 10-16 Light Platinum. Select the shade according to the percentage and tone of white/gray hair and the desired optical effect.

How's he doing on the blonde?

On blonde and bleached hair, Silver may deposit more intensely because porous hair can take up color faster. For lightened or highlighted hair, use the lighter/express service exactly as specified in the current Nirvel Silver instructions and monitor visually to reduce the risk of an overly dense gray, violet, or blue cast.

Can he make his hair too gray or purple?

Yes. An overly dark shade, porous blonde starting canvas, or excessive processing can produce an overly dense result. On very light or porous hair, use the more conservative Silver service specified by Nirvel and monitor the development visually.

What are the regimes of application?

Nirvel Silver has separate intensive and express service modes. Use the application method, Silver Activator 6 Vol, Clear Conditioner where specified, mixing ratio, and processing time exactly as stated in the current Nirvel Silver technical instructions.

Can a common oxide be used?

No. Nirvel specifies Silver Activator 6 Vol as the dedicated activator for the Silver cream-toner system. Do not substitute an unrelated developer unless Nirvel’s current technical instructions explicitly permit it.

Why do you need Silver Clear Conditioner?

Silver Clear Conditioner is used to reduce shade intensity and create a softer result within the Silver express service. It is particularly useful on porous, lightened, or very light hair. Follow the current Nirvel Silver instructions for the approved ratio and processing time.

Is it suitable for service \ integrated gray \(sing)?

Yes. Gray blending is one of the most natural service uses for Nirvel Silver. Instead of fully covering the hair, the colorist can soften the contrast of early gray, reduce unwanted yellow tone, and visually connect the natural base with gray/white hair for a lower-maintenance result.

Can Silver be used at home?

Silver is a professional system, particularly the cream toners used with their dedicated activator. Formulation should account for percentage of gray/white hair, porosity, starting color, unwanted yellow tone, and desired deposit density. For home maintenance, use Silver care products such as shampoo, mask, or serum when appropriate for the client.
